About Kathryn
She trained as a coach in 2011 and qualified as a behavioural analyst in 2013, and that same year completed her counselling qualification. In 2017 she launched her own practice to focus on the aspects of her work she found most rewarding, combining counselling and coaching to support both individuals and businesses.
As an integrative counsellor she adapts her approach to suit each person, working with a wide range of concerns including stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, bereavement, abuse, depression and trauma. On the coaching side she supports employees at all levels - from first-line managers to executives - helping them develop leadership and influencing skills, secure stakeholder support, build effective teams and clarify strategic goals. Kathryn also works one-to-one on career direction, motivation, goal setting, health and fitness and spiritual questions to help people move toward meaningful, sustainable change. She is registered with the BACP, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Therapeutic approaches and online support
Kathryn Taylor works online using evidence-informed methods that translate well to remote formats. Client-Centered Therapy focuses on the individual’s own experience, offering empathetic listening and support to help people explore values, self-esteem and life changes in their own time. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, helps identify unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns and teaches practical skills to manage anxiety, low mood and stress-related difficulties. Emotionally-Focused Therapy concentrates on emotions and attachment in relationships, helping partners and individuals better understand emotional responses and improve connection and intimacy.Deciding which approach to use is a collaborative process. Kathryn will discuss goals, preferences and practical needs with each person and tailor a plan that combines these methods where helpful, adjusting the style of work as progress unfolds.
Online sessions by video, phone, live chat or text-based messaging offer flexibility for busy schedules and for people who live elsewhere. These options allow registered professionals and therapists to provide consistent support across distances, making it easier to fit therapy into work, family life and other commitments.
